on march 26, ea released a new fifa 18 title update - patch 1.12. here are the patch notes for pc, xbox one and ps4.

the latest fifa 18 title update appeared for the pc, the size is 1.5 gb. the changes are limited, nothing was done on the gameplay but is mainly about cosmetic bug fixes. for the ps4 and the xbox one the patch will appear as always a few days later.

however, the update should have led to a bug in which the matches for the players are two minutes longer - more on that we report after the patch notes.

the bugfixes are limited to a fut champion channel bug, a display error on the tor network and two button errors. in addition, the "arsenal tuba banner" as well as the "club america" items has been edited.

addressed the following issues in fifa ultimate team:

● fut champions channel replays, for matches that ended early and resulted in a dnf, were sometimes incorrectly displaying which player received the loss.

○ this was purely a visual issue on the fut champions channel screens, and had no bearing on the results of the actual match.

● the goals were visually missing from the pitch if the net shaping settings had been changed to something different than those used by the player's active stadium.

● the 'camera target' buttons, displayed when watching a fut champions channel replay, were displaying as controller buttons when using a keyboard.

● the 'toggle tabs' buttons, displayed on the fut new items screen, were displaying as controller buttons when using a keyboard.

○ they are now also clickable when using a mouse.

made the following changes in audio / visual / presentation:
● changes to the arsenal tula banners displayed in game.

● changes to the club america kits, crests and banners displayed in game.

new bug through the fifa 18 patch 1.12

on the release day of the new title update, the first complaints were made on reddit: the patch should have created a bug that costs players up to two minutes per game.

after each game, there are sequences in which the players leave the stadium and a match report. you can skip these sections normally, there is hardly anyone who looks at these scenes completely.

since the patch these cutscenes can not be skipped anymore. thus, the players are forced to look after each game for more than two minutes of cut scenes.

of course, the community is not very enthusiastic. "class patch, now you can not skip the repetitions after the game, so you need 2 minutes more per game." - this is how a reddit user sums it up.
