riyad mahrez (leicester city): 76 -> 81

the 25-year-old algeria international has been instrumental in leicester's astonishing surge towards the premier league title, scoring 17 goals, with 11 assists, in 33 league appearances. mahrez has continued to be an imperative part of claudio ranieri's side, playing off the right-hand side, and scored in leicester's crucial away win at manchester city in february.

anthony martial (manchester united): 79 -> 82

anthony martial scored an impressive 11 goals in just 28 league appearances this season, most of them important match winners, as well as receiving three separate man of the match awards. and in his maiden campaign, his performances have already garnered him significant adulation and acclaim.

kingsley coman (bayern munich): 77 -> 80

still just 19, the exciting wide man has already played for french champions paris saint-germain and italian giants juventus. coman earned 39 caps and scored 11 goals in france's youth teams, from under-16 to under-21 levels. he made his debut for the senior team in november 2015 and represented the nation at uefa euro 2016.

2015/16 season was josé giménez's finest in professional football. he did what raphael varane had done in the latter’s breakthrough season. atletico madrid have conceded only 18 goals in la liga this season and his heroic displays was one of the key reasons for it. his stats are outrageous for someone his age as well.
