fifa 19 serie a license is back! it's been on the cards for a while but ea sports have officially confirmed that serie a will be back in its proper form for fifa 19. the premier italian division which cristiano ronaldo will call home for the new season after joining juventus. great that the serie a is licensed again for fifa 19, doesn't affect fut but good for fifa 19 career mode.

the italian top flight was previously called 'calcio a' on fifa 18 and fifa 17, but through acquiring the full rights, match graphics, official branding and coppa di campione d'italia trophy, it will put serie a on par with la liga, the premier league and bundesliga in terms of realism when september rolls around.

general manager of ea italy, maurizio finocchiaro says this season is the perfect time for the license to return: 'we're excited to announce the return of serie a tim in fifa 19, especially for the high potential of the next season for italian football. this is a crucial step for electronic arts to ensure to all fans, both italian and international ones, the highest level of authenticity for their game experience.' 

the news follows on from the recently announced of fifa 19's extraordinary deal with la liga which adds 16 new stadiums and over 200 player faces into the game. with these recent changes, every la liga team apart from barcelona will have their stadium in the game.
