ea sports has not yet announced the start date of the event but is likely to coincide with that of the holiday. as happened in the previous years the chinese lunar new year's eve promotions in fut should continue for 4 days.

in fifa 17, one of the rare occasions in which ea sports gave away packs was on the occasion of the chinese new year.

in particular, it was decided to reward users based on the number of days in which they logged in on fut, both from the console and from the web app or companion app. the prizes were as follows:

from 7 to 30 days: lunar new year kit + jumbo premium gold pack

from 31 to 70 days: lunar new year kit + mega pack

from 71 to 110 days: lunar new year kit + rare mega pack

at the moment we are not able to tell you if this will happen also in fifa 18

last year ea sports released a limited number of promotional packs at a lower cost than usual (50% discount). among the offers, which we remember once again went on for 4 days, there were:

15k jumbo premium gold pack: 7,500 fut coins (limit: 10, duration 24 hours)

25k premium gold players packs: 12,500 fut coins (global limit)

35k mega packs: 17,500 fut coins (limit: 10, duration 24 hours)

it is not to be excluded that such a solution is also proposed this time
